The debate roars on

**EDIT** This post was moved from another service. The “other blog” is the one you are reading.
So I decided to quit blogging a couple of weeks ago. You can read my latest entry at my other blog to hear some of my thoughts on why. I got really caught up in following the stats, and really disappointed when they didn’t move. I’d post entries and beg for results – all to no avail. And here I am posting to a blog I haven’t even opened in four months pretending that someone will read this entry.
Optimism, maybe?
I like the thought of being able to write and have it read – at least have the possibility of it being read. I just don’t know. Blogging seems to be so much about getting the audience and finding someone to read your thoughts. I was reading some of the entries here today and thinking about where I was and what has been going on since I wrote them. It’s nice to be able to look back and read and see what’s been going on.
Anyway, back to journaling – which is really what this blog was all about originally. Maybe someone will read it one day. Maybe not. Maybe it will just be for me. And I think I’m okay with that.
